2022 has been a whirlwind of a year and we are very thankful for it! Early in the year we were contacted by Bowstring Studios to help execute a Vietnam video production for one of their clients, Nord Anglia. Nord Anglia is a very well recognized international private education company which has some of the worlds best international schools in pretty much every country in the world.
Normally Bowstring sends out their own production team from USA to execute these productions all over the world but due to restrictions in the beginning of 2022 they opted to work with our Vietnam film production company after being referred by another production company from the USA and looking over our past video productions. Always humbling to hear people in another part of the world recommending us!
The production was to do a student focused hero story as well as get some new b-roll of the school and facilities. We love good storytelling just like Bowstring so it was a good fit right off the start. EM Productions was responsible for providing a lean professional Vietnam crew, equipment, directing and DOP that met their high standards. We shot everything on Zeiss Compact lenses and ran a 2 cam setup with a RED as Cam A and and BMPCC4k for gimbal work.
We had 2 days of film production in Hanoi, Vietnam and 1 day of film production in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
We send Bowstring the footage and they were really happy with what we produced for them and we have been in talks about working on another film production in Vietnam in 2023. This is always great news to hear!!!! I think they did a great job with the edit as well.
